Editions Explained All prints are associated with a letter code denoting the various editions they are available in. Below is an explanation of the editions and their corresponding codes: AP (Artist Proof) This is our numbered, limited edition release of the artwork for our collectors. This edition comes in small releases of 10-25 with a few exceptions of up to 50. This edition comes in only one size, the size noted beneath the photograph, which represents the official, limited edition size of the artwork. These prints are prepared and hand printed by the artist and are fine-tuned and adjusted to its best possible form. They are printed on the most optimal fine-art paper with archival pigment ink, rated with a lifespan of approximately 300 years. The AP edition comes signed, numbered, dated with a special “Artist’s Proof” stamp on the back of the print along with an authentication number. The prices of Artist's Proof Edition prints generally get progressively higher as the edition draws near to the end of the release. DE (Designer Edition) The Designer Edition is a custom sized edition meant for larger wall spaces or commercial spaces. Designer Edition prints usually exceed 44” on the long side and can reach up to 4’x8’sizes, occasionally even bigger. All specifications of the Designer Edition is custom ordered by collector or designer including the framing or finishing process. Designer Editions are usually released in 1-5 editions (with the occasional exception of 8 editions). The catalogue always denotes the prints that are available in the Designer Edition. Please look for the "DE" designation. Due to the nature of DE prints, they are often finished in a nonreversible form, i.e. permanently sealed and mounted in their particular finishes. As a result the pieces are numbered on the bottom right corner, over the image, beneath their respective protective layer. The prices in this edition usually fluctuates and determined by the combination of the value, the size, the type of finish as well as the number of editions already sold. For a premium price, the 1st edition of any piece can be “bought out” by the collector in an effort of preventing any subsequent edition to be released. Please contact the artist for further information regarding the Designer Edition. SP (Studio Print) Studio Prints are created for the enthusiast. Studio Prints generally come in three sizes 8”x10” 12”x18” and 16”x20” (this can vary depending on the particular series) and are always smaller than the Artist Proof edition. Studio Prints may or may not be printed by the artist, but they all carry a stamp on the back, authenticating the origin of the print. Studio Prints are open editions, with a price tag considerably lower that an Artist Proof edition.
